When tagging, could we have the option to add multiple tags from the dropdown at once? As in, CTRL+click to add multiple tags either with no text or all the same text, without having to close the drop-down.

How would we be able to add text to each of the tags separately though?

They would each have to have the same text, copied in before or after the drop down selection

Oh I see. That would be good for all the comorbidities. That would really speed up tagging. I like this idea.

Like the idea! I’d like to add that we should make tags editable with this change.

I just want to bump this because this would have saved me probably 10s of hours on my latest nest. It might have actually cut the time in half. This is a very useful tool for CDE style nests.

Is the idea here that all the selected tags would share annotation & contents?
This becomes somewhat fraught with mixed content types, but defaulting to text contents (and ignoring for other types) is viable.

Yup! annotation and comments would be shared. This is very useful in clinicaltrial.gov pages where you’re tagging the same outcome/text multiple times for the different time points.

This would also be generally useful for tables. Instead of highlighting individual rows, you could highlight the entire table and apply all the tags. So, it isn’t just for CDE nests that this would be useful.

Agreed, Karl, this would probably work only if it’s restricted to Text type tags. Thanks Nicole!

Oh so this wouldn’t be feasible for area tags with a graph? That would be super helpful and save on time.
