
Requested from HSE, there is not currently a way to add a column for citations in Manuscript Editor. I tried a few different ways, including building a custom table but could not find a solution outside of exporting the Word document and updating the table manually. An addition to this issue would also be the ability to add a blank column to an updateable table in Manuscipt


Thanks Ranita– The first part, citation, is something I want badly! For the blank column, is the need that they want to fill in a column of the table with manually entered information?

Agreed on citations - the manual column is however more tricky, since rows of the table may be added & deleted. Still a possibility!

@Kevin.kallmes the ask from HSE was for citations as they really need that information to complete evidence reviews, the blank column is something I thought might be necessary to prevent exporting to edit the table. If we’re able to get citations, that should be sufficient!


Added in release 1.38.0. The format of the column is our in-house style which matches what we offer through the bibliographic data drop. Thanks for bringing this one up Ranita!
