Show # of Studies when Hovering Over a Tag#391

In configure study tags, is there a way to show the number of studies that have the given tag, included and excluded, when hovering the cursor over the specific tag. This is helpful to see if some tags are redundant, can be merged, or removed. Currently, I either have to go to another tab and look it up on study inspector, do it through starburst, or go in the “merge” function and see “number of tags to be merged” to get the number. Would be very cool to be able to see it as an exponent or something near the tag name

Interesting concept! You’re right, the Configure Tags page does not give a great amount of detail on how the tags have actually been used. I think we need to look into how this could be presented without complicating the configuration process, but we obviously have the data on # of times applied. Hover text may work, but we already depend on hover for tag name, and we would need to make sure any number displayed is not confusing to users.

I’d love to hear from other users whether tag use stats are helpful on Configuration, so please feel free to comment!
