Infinite loading page from nest comment email#407

I got an email notifiation for a nest comment. When I follow the nest comment link–while not signed in to AutoLit–the page appears to be loading indefinitely and the sign in button is inaccessible (see image). When I am already authenticated, this behavior does not occur.

If Log In is changed to a link, I think that would be fine! but as is it’s a little awkward & leaves the user suspended

Thanks for pointing this out Kathryn! I’m so often logged in, I don’t notice. I like your recommendation; alternatively, we cold prevennt the modal from covering the site navbar, so that login remains possible there as well!

I went for the route of leaving the site navbar available to click, which felt the most natural. This fix will be included with our invites rework in likely the next release!
