I think this filter should only return studies that were only identified via expert addition and not any other search. Or at the very least a way to find those studies that were only expert addition to verify the PRISMA.

Hi Nicole - glad you found the filter - can I ask how common this use case is? And is using the History table sufficient for (manually) identifying records that are only expert recs?

It is decently common actually! For example, today, I had to figure out why only 22 out of 25 studies had full text review for all expert additions. There were 77 total papers that were expert additions, but only 25 were only expert additions. I was able to filter to no full text included to make my job easier, but if I didn’t have that feature I would have had to go through all 77 studies to figure out which ones were only expert additions.

Also, I think most people using this filter are going to want to see which papers were only expert additions.

Hm, got it. I think the move here would be to give all our lit search filters an “all” and “unique” toggle, kind of like we did with tag search search. We would be defaulting to “all”, I imagine.
Idea being that if we only did this for Expert Addition, users may be frustrated they can’t use the functionality elsewhere. Do you mind if I generalize this issue to that?

That’s great! Then we get even more flexibilty. :)
