Recording Rate Ratios for two study arms#414

This is somewhat related to my previous post but I wanted to respect the one suggestion per post rule.

In this instance, I am extracting the rate ratio (95% CI), p-value data point. This is a comparative statistic so for the two study arms, there is only one value/data cell needed.

Currently, my option is to include the rate ratio and 95% CI in one cell and add the p-value as a tag, then post-export merge the two cells.

Any tips on how to optimize this process?

Good question – if you use the tagging-based approach that you mentioned in the other post, and were consistent about which arms are on either ‘side’ of the ratio (i.e. if you ensure that the ratios are all reported with the same ‘direction’ of comparison), then you could use tag-based columns and obviate the need for quantitative collection.

If you try this out, could you let me know how it goes and send a picture of what your best version looks like? Thx!
