Bug: Every once in a while I will try to extract and see that I cannot select any of the intervention arms.
To fix this, I have to go to Configure Study Tags module, select Extraction Configuration, and while this is open, click on the Intervention Parent tag to “re-select” all of the intervention arms (they become purple vs grey).
If I click anywhere on the page, it deselects all of the internvetions (grey dots).
It is possible to lock down the interventions so that they can’t be unselected?

I wish we could call this a bug, but this sounds like our intended design. When you expand the “Extraction Configuration” drop box, the intervention root selector is immediately live. Meaning, if you click anywhere on the hierarchy, you will reassign the intervention root. That can be highly confusing.
If I’m reading the situation correctly, your confusion indicates we need to fix this. @Jeffrey Johnson Do you have any thoughts? Maybe this is as simple as not making interventions the default-open tab when expanding “Extraction Configuration”?

I strongly support that solution, @Karl Holub – It’s way more likely that people are editing Data Elements than Interventions, and errant clicks can cause exactly the situation Dmitry brought up
