Label comparison tool with "Compare" feature#497

Can we build a tool that allows clients to compare published product labels (Package inserts) and ideally, add a “compare” feature similiar to many product purchase sites? This compare feature would also be very useful for the Clinical Trials.gov feature. Pharma would buy the seats just for the PI and Clinicaltrials.gov features. Happy to discuss, and the visuals would be critical. Tony

Thanks Tony! Is there a way for tagging be used or adapted to this purpose? I recognize that this would be useful, but any time we consider new features to the product roadmap we have to balance the potential utility with the inevitable added complexity. It’s also much faster to iterate on and add capabilities to features we already have than to build new ones.

For example, if you want to look for say, the presence of a dozen qualitative statements on say, 50 inserts, tagging sounds ideal…but maybe I’m missing something!

I’m also interested in hearing more about how you envision the outputs! Perhaps it can be as simple as a table export, or maybe you’re envisioning a new Synthesis visual?
