Nest invite emails for emails without an account- put create account link first#498

E

I’ve recently sent nest invite emails to a bunch of client collaborators who don’t already have NK accounts, and a number of them have just clicked on the first link in the email (the link to the invited nest) and ignored the next line telling them that they need to create an account, then emailed me asking what’s wrong when NK asks them to log in or sign up for an account. I suggest maybe making the create an account instruction/link some combination of bigger/first when sending invites to emails that aren’t connected to accounts, and possibly not including a link directly to the nest at all, since it will show up in their list of nests, and they can’t use the link without creating an account first.

Thanks for sending to us! I am surprised, though maybe I shouldn’t be. To be clear, the major change needed is to put the Sign Up link above the link to nest in any invite-to-nest email?

Yeah, I think that would help them see that step instead of wanting to immediately click to see the nest. Clearly the promise of new data is too appealing to read all the way through!
