When searching Cochrane, it isn’t possible to automatically export the search to a .RIS file, it would be very helpful if it could be added as a search option to the automatic portion of NK.

We jump on any opportunity to add automatic (API) search integrations, they are undoubtedly the easiest way to get records into NK. However, in Cochrane’s case, there’s proprietary data/licensing issues & an apparent lack of APIs.
Cochrane’s review database does have a RIS export option and an API that does not appear to be for public use in our past research. Depending on your region reviews themselves are publicly available or require licensing. However, I’m assuming you’re more interested in trials.
Cochrane’s trail database is a combination of records from a bunch of different sources, including proprietary CINAHL and Embase (details here: https://www.cochranelibrary.com/central/central-creation). Full-featured access is only provided to licensed, institutional users. Since I’m not licensed I can’t confirm if RIS export becomes available. Do you have an institutional license?

If not, I’m afraid the only option is to manually iterate the search results and compile DOIs / other identifiers. It’s suprising they let unlicensed users see search results (even if without an abstract) at all!
I’ll have to inquire about whether we have an institutional license. (And you’re right, I’m searching for Trials!)
Thank you for your guidance!
