Form based tagging- add new tag bug?#503

In the Questions section for form-based tagging, the normal option to add a new tag shows up if I type in a non-existant tag in a single or multiselect question, but then if I click on add new tag, I just get the error page and have to refresh the site. Adding a new tag works fine in the “Tagging” section down below.

We’ve built a fix which will roll out with next release.

This bug was introduced in release 1.58.3, when we made our tag selection menu incorporate the order of configured tags. In short, the “Create Tag” modal is only displaying a subset of tags (specifically, the relevant question & response tags) as parent tag options. However, the selection menu was modified in that release to expect all tags in the hierarchy to be present (so that we can order them against one another). So our app runs into a conflict for creating tags within questions and throws its hands up.
