In the past week I’ve been having an issue with the full text pdf viewer being cut short (screenshot attached). It doesn’t happen consistently, but once it shows up like this, it doesn’t matter what window or screen size I use. It happens in both chrome and Firefox, and it’s happened in multiple nests. I can scroll and see different parts of the pdf moving, but the viewer stays the same size, and obviously it’s not usable for actually reading and tagging the text. It’s happened with studies that have had full text pdfs viewed normally previously and studies with full texts just uploaded. Let me know if there’s any other info that would be helpful!
Yikes! That’s unacceptable. We did just make changes to how the PDF viewer sizes into the page with release 1.76.0, so our culprit is in there.
Unfortunately, it sounds like this doesn’t seem to have a consistent presentation or method of reproduction? We’ll look into it ASAP!
Is this happening in a particular module or everywhere?
Only in inspector, or also in the queues?
Hey Erin, I think we may have figured out the (or at least one!) issue- this is only when viewing studies from comments/related reports emails?
Hi Karl, I think I’ve encountered it from study inspector, but it does happen more consistently from comments/related reports links. I’ll try to pay attention to whether it happens at other times!
Good to know, thanks! We’re going to push a patch out ASAP and hopefully you’ll never see it again :)
Awesome, thanks Karl!
Hoping this is resolved with release 1.76.2!
