When I’m trying to delete a data element configuration (but keep the tag), I keep clicking on a data element/tag bubble in extraction configuration, which brings up the configuration settings, but then I realize that I actually need to find the data element in the list to remove it, and clicking on it didn’t really matter. Since clicking on the tag/data element is part of nearly every other configuration/change step, it would flow better to have an option to remove the data element in the configuration box or to snap to the data element in the list when it’s selected, so the removal option is pulled up with all the other options. Very non-urgent suggestion, I just find myself going through this loop every time!

I totally know what you mean and agree here– we do ‘snap’ you to the Data Element, but then we don’t offer a Deletion button!
I think adding a Delete Data Element option to the open Data Element panel is the best way to take care of this; LMK if you have a more specific desire here. Thx!

Update– Erin, we’re redesigning this page (and Tag Config) in general, you should see a major usability improvement and ‘delete my Data Element’ will be presented differently. Thanks for reporting, and I’ll update you when the new configuration pages drop!
Awesome, thanks Kevin!
