Extract DOI from external Link#546

Some search engines provide an external link item to the DOI entry but no extra DOI item in the RIS file. The DOI item could be extraced from that external link automatically and validated in Crossref

Thanks for the heads up! Which database did you get retrieve this record from? Using the ID field for storing the DOI is unfamiliar to me, and most typical databases will use DO. We’d be happy to update the mapping for specific search engines though!
