It would be great to be able to search through comments in Study Inspector indexed by date.

Michał – Thank you for the feeedback! Yes, as you note, comments are only currently searchable by their contents. I think I understand the need; you’re trying to find past comments by when they were added.
We’ll bring this to the development team, and let you know if this is something we can add in future releases. Thank you!

Could you expand on the specific use case or need? This is tricky because there would be interplay between the filter & sort applied and the many:1 relationship of records:comments.
Thank you very much for such a quick response!
As for the specific use case: The comments section is a really useful to write some quick thoughts on an article, or to note a point that we would like to come back to after doing some additional research or during a meeting with the whole team working on the review.
That’s why it would be great to be able to go through the history of comments made (preferably with the distinction between all comments and own comments), with the possibility of seeing the newest comments first. This would enable us to go through the notes that we took in the comment section and go back to the articles that we commented on.
Currently, there is the option in the Nest Home to go through the newest mentions, but I couldn’t find an option to go through all comments, that would include those that don’t have a mention in them.
I think that it would be equally useful, if such an option appeared in the nest home (maybe even in the same window and in the same way as it currently works with mentions), as it would be in Study Inspector. So either of this options would be great.

Of course, thanks for the rationale here! You are correct that there is not currently an option to see all non-mention comments on Nest Home, and that may be more straightforward than a filter & sort capability. Let me talk to the dev team and see what we can do.
